How to mount a Scotts stabilizer to a 19-22 KX450? Scott’s doesn’t make a mount kit…

I’d like to mount a Scott’s damper to my 20KX450, but Scotts, BRP or Ride Eng doesn’t make the top mount or frame mount. Has anyone used a Scotts on this bike, if so where did you get the mounting kit? If not Scott’s, what other brand damper fits? Thanks!

Maybe reach out to Jacob Argubright. He runs a Scotts on a Kawi 450.

Just talk to Eric at Scott’s. If you give him some measurements he might be able to find a solution. I had a set of RG3 triples on a YZ250 and he found a mount that worked for me.

You’ll kick rocks at the others after using one of these. I run one on my off-road race bike with PHDS handlebar mounts.
That looks like a good damper. The only reservation I have is it damps going back to center, where the Scotts does not. Do you feel that return to center damping much after deflecting to the side? Also, since it damps on a bell curve to each side, does that increase the amount of the deflection arc since the damping has to ramp up, as it moves away from center?

Anyone with a 19-22 KX450 have any issues running the Precision set up with an IMS oversize tank?

The install video for the PRecision Parabolic damper is done with an IMS tank on the 2019-22 frame.https://youtu.be/LSq4Q9fkAww

People preach about neck braces and knee braces as safety equipment, I'd say this is one of the best pieces of safety equipment you can buy.

Smack a tree with one of these mounted and chances are far less of getting the bars ripped out of your hands.

Honestly I don’t even notice the dampening unless I turn the low speed up on it. It’s saved me a few times from high speed deflections on boulders in the dez and helps keep the bike tracking true in the whoops.

The owner and his buddy race our local off-road series. Super nice guy and he will answer any questions you have about their dampeners.
