Rmz250 decomp spring???

So my decomp spring broke on my 2016 rmz 250. I noticed it today when I was checking valves. Was wondering why it would be hard to start the past few times. So I can find a replacement spring anywhere. I tried to make my own but it had to much tension wouldn't allow the decomp to open. Anyone have this break and/ or know how to get a replacement spring?

Have you tried Suzuki dealerships in other parts of the country?

Yes. They only sell the decomp with the cam as one. And only oem. Aftermarkets don't have a decomp so you have to use your own one.

Maybe try eBay for an old cam

So I fixed it I bought a pack of springs from home Depot and found one that was close in tension. Works great
