If the noise is normal it should not increase in intensity. I guess just keeping an eye on it is the best thing at this point.

I was hoping someone would have had some foresight into this just in case there's something catastrophic about to happen but it looks like I'm gonna have to ride it with fingers crossed and hope for the best.

It's either ride it and pay close attention to the noise in case it gets louder or tear into it. Not much else you can really do.

Did you recently vent your air box cover? That will add some spooling like noise from the intake

Yes, I was running a 13t countershaft sprocket due to riding a lot of tight technical trails that winter. The smaller sprocket caused the chain to rub the swingarm buffer at a different angle and was causing the noise. Once I switched back to a 14t for track use the sound went away. It still makes the ticking/clattering noise even after putting a new cam chain tensioner in it for peace of mind but it also still hasn’t blown up 30hrs later.
