2021 300 tpi falling on its face

I have a 2021 300 erzberg rodeo and down low it’s fine and when it’s on the pipe it runs fine. However once you get into the midrange it falls on its face like a fouled plug or drowning itself out. I have a fing power core on it, just changed the plug, 25-30 hours on the motor, air filter is fine. Not sure if i need to start with power valve or air screw adjustment. Also i did notice today it looks like there may be a leak at the bottom of the reed valve. Running 93 Ethanol was running 92 non-ethanol which ran like shit. I did just pick up 260gtx in hopes it’ll clean the detonation and pining up. Any tips or info would be great. Haven’t had a bike in 10 years and a two stroke on 15, let alone one with injection.

Try cleaning the pressure sensors and go check for info on the ktm forum. They have a lot more tpi knowledge there. You could have a power valve problem. Maybe a broken spring or stuck open? That air screw is only for adjusting idle speed. It just lets air bypass the throttle.

Set your PV and 1 to 1.5 turns in from flush. Could be a bad CCP sensor. My buddies new 21 Erzberg had a bad sensor from brand new but different symptoms than you. His would not idle, constant stalling and fouling plugs. Maybe you should check fuel pressure and inspect fuel pump.

Also try to see if your PV is opening normally. Should open at aprox 5k rpm. Some guys have had PV clearance issues.

I’ll check it out, haven’t gotten a chance to tear into it today. Did a little digging on the CCP failure and I’m betting it is that. Going to swap the atmosphere sensor with it and see if it solves it

I’d buy a new sensor and swap it if it were me.

Yep, replace sensor. Mine failed at 16 hours, my buddies failed at 20 hours. All over the KTM forum about them going bad. My buddy works at a dealership. They keep a bunch on hand, as it's a known failure.
