if you watch the video..After Alessi falls...three of four more guys sort of swap and their rear tires kick out of that rut towards mike..that is why he has to scurry out of the way..that is exactly what happened to Grants rear wheel and it hit the awkward looking alessi off of his bike. The guy has heart for trying but ended up looking like a goon.

From a Racers Perspective they are supposed to do everything they can to try and win. If the fastest time of the day isn't enough then put the cripple on the ground. Then ride to a fifth place finish because that is the only way a racer would do it. Do I have this racers thing down?

Sounds more like you're crying because you got pwned by a pro. It's time for you to man up and STFU.

Lenny your blind devotion wont allow you to see the Racers Perspective only James' perspective.
I think alot of James old "take out" moves were merely him trying to make a move prematurely because he was trying to get out front as quickly as possible. Kinda boneheaded at times but I dont think he was being malicious at any time.

Let me make a point on this whole "Racers Perspective" It doesnt make me more superior to any of your opinions when you have something you all are bench racing over. I just have had the opportunity to race with the fastest in the world and know the ways things happen first hand. If you cant get your head to grasp that then Im sorry. I do understand some of you have been "around" this industry and sport for longer than I have been alive, but I have been a part of the highest level of "racing" and living it. Like I said that doesnt warrant my opinion to be better than yours but sometimes it may hold more value with what things I have done on a bike and within this industry. Never Lenny did I feel any direspect just wanted to chime in with my .02

Big Lenny was just fishing all along. It was nice to see SH #32 to get into this. He would understand it a little more then most of us. Really good topic and enjoyed reading it!

Not a fan of cognitive dissonance, eh?

It can be entertaining at times.

Lenny your right, no here should say or give a "racers perspective" unless they have been in a racers shoe's. I would have to guess 99% of the people here have never raced Pro. A Pro can take a rider out quick and easy, without it even look like a takeout. They have been doing this job since they were just walking and they can take another rider out easy.

Grant took Alessi out. There is no question. He said he was going to do it before the moto even started and he did.
