I have 4 sets and hands down the best gear I’ve owned. The one thing I blew was not grabbing a set of the Blue Revo Flow LE as it was limited edition and now they’re not making anymore.

You “less big” people probably won’t understand this post... but I’ll start by saying two things:
1) I’m not sponsored by FXR
2) I’m 6’2 and 350 lbs (offroad A level guy)
3) I haven’t ridden in the stuff yet so I have zero idea about longevity

Alright, so that’s 3 things, but whatever. I want to say thank you to FXR for making a pant that I’ve always dreamed of. The Revo MX pant, size 42. I finally found a pant with stretch, room in the knees, lightweight, and an amazing fitting waist that makes me feel like I have an actual ass in them. I can literally do a squat in these pants without feeling like I’m ready to bust or feeling like seams are screaming, and the waist stays tight. These things are unbelievable. I’ve worn 5 different gear brands in the last couple years and none of them come close to the feel and fit of these.

So long story long here... if your a big man, and struggle finding a great fitting and feeling pant, give the FXR Revo pant a look. Oh and I almost forgot, the jersey is super comfy and verity to boot. I sincerely thank you FXR.
I know I’m late to the conversation but what size pants do you normally wear in “street” clothes? I’m a fellow big fella, 6’4 350 C class woods rider. I’ve got some FXR gear on the way but couldn’t find anything larger than a 42 in anything but the Clutch line. I wear a 46 waist in jeans for comfort but could squeeze into a 44. I couldn’t find much on if they are true to size.

If your wife sews she can probably add some elastic to the waist area if it doesn’t fit.

Never too late to any party! I’m a size 42 pant in street clothes, and I’m 42 in the FXR pants. I don’t have any experience with the Clutch pants though, so let me know what you find as I wouldn’t mind trying a pair myself when the time comes.

While I’m at it, I’ll give my quick (long) review of a year with my FXR stuff… the stuff is awesome!

Let me say this again, I’m a big fella, so naturally I look like I’m a bit stuffed into the gear… mostly the jersey… but hey it is what it is when you max out the sizing department. But this is also what makes this stuff shine. Despite “looking” a bit snug, the function of the gear is top notch. I can move around on the bike with zero restrictions from the gear side. The feeling I get, is probably the feeling most woman have wearing yoga pants.

I’ve put the most time on the Revo set, as I found myself really liking the ratchet over the Velcro at the top of the pants. The ratchet just seems to hold better, where the Velcro setup loosens when the plastic piece that hooks back usually turns itself horizontal under tension, and therefore loosening the waist line a bit. It’s really the only difference I can feel between the Revo and the Podium set.

Both sets of the Revo and Podium have held up tough with zero issues, despite the “snug” look. All seams on both pants and jerseys are in tact, which is a first for me. The knees are starting to show a little bit of wear visually, but no holes. So that area too is holding up surprisingly well.

All in all - I love this stuff. Again I don’t have any support from FXR so I have no skin in the game, just my honest feedback on some solid gear that typically isn’t available for the big guys.

…Now if we could only get some more color ways in the bigger sizes *cough FXR* lol…

I appreciate the quick reply!! I don’t mind the look more than the feel. I’m used to that being the size that I am lol. I’ll definitely let you know how the fit is from the stuff I receive!

My son has a Revo set and just ordered a couple more sets…think he’s trying different lines.

How’s the jersey fit on FXR? I’m typically medium.

Just got my FXR Revo and clutch Pro jersey in medium size.

The Clutch Pro fits perfectly, but sadly the Revo jersey fits really tight for a medium-size.
I had medium Thor and Fox jerseys before and always had a good fit.

I would definitely reorder a Revo large If I did not have my name custom on it.

Thanks! Appreciate that. I also have an off-road set in the cart, which is priced between Clutch and Revo. Wonder about fit on that.

Both should fit about the same as they are slim-fit designs.

Revo and Helium are very much athletic fit. I used to be able to run a medium when I was 15lbs lighter but now run a large after bulking up a little. Podium line is slightly roomier than the Revo and Helium with Clutch being the loosest fit.

I'm 6'4" and 215lbs and the fxr clutch stuff is the only gear that fits me properly. It's nice to have pants that don't come out of my boots, or sleeves that actually go down to my wrists. I get probably 15-20 rides in the pants before I tear through the inner knee, and then there is still a fabric layer underneath the leather which holds up nicely. For reference I get about 3 laps out of oneil pants before they tear, 5 rides in TLD and fox, and 10 rides out of thor stuff. I believe this all comes down to where the actual knee is on the pant, since I'm a tall and skinny the newer pants just don't hold up with knee braces, even after I have foam padding on them. My leg just bends the leather and it tears on the bike.
What sizes you runnin in this fxr? I am similar specs 210 and 61

I run XL jersey and 38 pants.I wear 36 in normal clothes but I like the extra leg room for my knee braces with the size 38 and there is plenty of waist adjustments to tighten them up a bit.

Can anybody comment on how the podium feels compared to the revo?

The Podium fit just as well as the Revo. I ordered 2 sets, the Revo black/blue and the Podium all black. The biggest difference I noticed between the two was the waist having velcro closure at the top of zipper on the Podium versus the ratchet at the top of the Revo’s. I think I’ll prefer the ratchet, as I don’t know how well the velcro will hold up to my belly rolling over top...but we’ll see when I get to ride in them.

Is this still the case for 2023-2024?

Another big guy here (6'4" 300#).  FXR and Klim are the only two brands that seem to understand how to cut the larger sizes.

My only complaint about the FXR stuff is that the finger tips on the Prime gloves lack silicone or some other kind of grip on the index and middle finger.  Otherwise, the stuff is plenty breathable yet holds up well.  Huge fan of the Clutch Pro jersey.
