2001 Honda CR250 for sale.
Hello folks, I am the Original owner of this 2001 CR250 and it is in immaculate condition. I’m only selling it because I’m ALMOST an old geezer and I dont ride it anymore, plus the wife is making me sell some of my toys before I can buy a new e-MTB. It has been maintained and stored covered in my garage. Started regularly, but not ridden in years. Only ridden with VP race gas and Redline synthetic oils. It has Black Excel rims with Dunlop D756 tires, Braking wave rotors, FMF SST pipe and silencer, Weisco Forged piston, Boyseen Rad Valve, VHM 2 piece cylinder head with interchangeable domes. It has an Supercross dome, (with higher compression and a strong low end and midrange) and a Motocross dome, (with lower compression than the Supercross dome for more mid to top end pull) and the cylinder head also has o-ring gaskets. It has an Dyna FS ignition with 4 position mapping. Answer Pro Taper bars, Pro Circuit titanium pegs, SDG seat, Twin Air filter. I Still have the original manual and stock plastics, seat and several stock parts. It was Dyno’d at Tom Morgan Racing making 50hp and 31.8ftp torque. Suspension serviced by Rick Johnson at Too Tech suspension. It has been run, but not ridden since 2010 and rarely ridden before that. This rare gem is listed for $5,000 firm. That FMF SST exhaust was a thing of beauty on that engine. It was like Honda leaked secret tech to FMF because it could never justify the price on a production bike and the engineers couldn't let their work never see the light of day.
I also loved how stable the bike was. I used it for hi-speed desert and MX and it excelled at both. It was great in the dunes, too. Just super, super versatile.
