1996 CR 125 BUILD

i just bought a 1996 honda cr 125. doing a complete rebuild on the whole bike. the bike has what looks to be a kehein 36 pwk air striker, although i cant find any info on anyone running a 36 all seem to running a 38. any one seen his before? also i cant find a pipe for this bike, and the one on it is beat up pretty bad, its a fmf fatty. any one know where i could find a pipe?

The stock carb on that bike was a 36mm Keihin PJ. So the 36-PWK is essentially a newer version of the stock carb. Plenty of people running 36's on 125's. Most people will tell you a 36 is easier to jet and gets better bottom response and a 38 maybe has the potential for a bit more on top.

Had stock, PWK 36, and now Lectron on my 95, 125. Sticking w Lectron.

Running a 38mm Airstryker with STIC metering block on my '96 and it's an absolute hoot to ride. No comparison to stock. The 36 PWK Airstryker is a good carb also like FG01 said basically a newer version of the PJ D slide carb.

For pipe - Ebay has them at times but they are becoming extremely hot items. FMF may still produce them but not 100% sure. I've thought about putting my vintage Bills Pipe up for sale since everyone wants one so bad, lol.......
