I thought Lenny might like this question from a quick interview I did with RC at the truck race in Milwaukee this weekend. You can see more of it on MT.

Ok, this one might be a tough question and you don't have to answer it if you don’t want to - I remember reading somewhere that you said James Stewart was the fastest guy to ever ride a dirtbike...

"Yup, he's pretty fast...."

-does that make you the best "racer" then?

"Haha, I don't know man....I think I had my good points and he's got his good points and we're both really good, I mean he's really good at what he does and I was good at what I did and you know it seemed like I was able to get the races done and do well."

Interpret as you wish, but I got the impression that I got the "PC" answer, - only RC knows for sure.

RC's answers are the proven example of why "Getting high on your own supply" is a no-no..

Umm, the interview was the day before the race.

Maybe you're taking it differently than I did, but he seemed to agree with his original quote. What's the issue then? If he admits that James was "faster" than he was, yet managed to beat James for every championship they contested, wouldn't that make him the better "racer"?

He didn't say it - I did. As I mentioned he didn't, (even when the words were put in his mouth) say that he was better than James. It was a classy answer from where I was sitting.

Len, your disparaging of RC at every corner demeans yourself and the object of your adoration, you cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.

Obviously you weren't aware the truck race was scheduled for friday, got canceled and then ran on Saturday? I would have thought an "all-knower" such as yourself would have known that before making such a stupid statement.

The interview was on Friday - he raced on saturday, in case you couldn't keep up there.

Ok, this one might be a tough question and you don't have to answer it if you don’t want to - I remember reading somewhere that you said James Stewart was the fastest guy to ever ride a dirtbike...

"Yup, he's pretty fast...."

-does that make you the best "racer" then?

It's crazy that guys can turn a statement like that around. Ricky could have just said "James is a great rider" or "he's super fast", but he didn't. I think he meant what he said. That's just MHO.

Wow, you do have comprehension problems, don't you?

I said the interview was the day before the race - which it was - and you think I'm changing the story. I'll try to dumb it down for you in the future.

RC said James was faster than him. He also avoided saying that he (RC) was the better "racer". Shouldn't you be happy?

yup=yes

I think that he admitted, he said, James was faster. I just don't get your argument on this one.

A simple "Yes", would've did it or "Yep", "Yup" is unacceptable...
