Have you had experience with those? I've seen them break on not a hard crash only to ruin the day of racing. .Customer support offered a whole 20% off a new pair.

First off I had a real bad wrist fracture overshooting a triple and landing on the edge of the track so if it wasn't for that injury not sure I'd be so keen on these bars, although if I was using these during the crash I wonder if they would have flexed and prevented the injury in the first place? But Yep I've had good luck for my woods bike, I can charge over rock gardens and nasty stuff way faster and it feels like nothing going over it but for mx I felt they were too soft at times when going through any type of long braking bumps or whoops where there was a rhythm to it. I might try the lowest 1 times flex for mx which I was told they make per order or just try 7/8" bars first since it's been a while since have tried those and hear they flex more than a standard 1 1/8" without a crossbar. The reason I really like them for mx is when you come up short on a jump normally my wrist would sting and with these it doesn't. Also my wrist feels so much better at the end of the day when using them. I haven't had them break yet and have had them for about a season of riding twice a week but haven't tested crashing in anything other than a normal get off or ejection. Nothing too serious knock on wood!

Hello all. Doug Nordberg here from Twisted Engineering. I don't normally visit forums and comment but I want to be sure that people do not get incorrect information. The handlebars that we produce use a combination of materials, not purely carbon fiber, to make our generation 3 handlebars. We feel that our handlebars are the best you can buy anywhere. We have invented all of the the technologies to manufacture our products. These are not built like mountain bike handlebars or carbon fiber bike frames or anything else that is out there. They incorporate an F1 inspired internal tether that can withstand a 10 ton impact load without failure. That means, you cannot possibly break off our Gen 3 handlebars. Can you still crash hard enough to damage our handlebars? Sure, you can probably damage anything in a bad enough crash. But, look at the Youtube video of me beating on a set of handlebars with a baseball bat. I am still running those handlebars on my bike and they are Gen 2 versions. I did an Enduro a couple weeks ago on the same handlebars. When a customer calls me and says that they damaged a set of handlebars that they bought 5 years ago, I offer to retest them if they ship them back. If they want a new pair I offer a 20% discount on a new pair. That is making them at my cost. We are a small company that takes pride in what we sell. We use only certified, aerospace grade materials that are USA sourced. We pay a price for that. But I will not sell a product that I myself would not want to use. Each bar is hand built, inspected and certified. What ever product you purchase I wish you all the best. Roost ON!!!!

I have a set of Gen 2 KTM low I have run on 3 different bikes. I’ve had that particular set for over 6 years and at least 200 hours. It has some wear on it for sure. Doug fabbed me a Scott’s damper mount for my RG3’s in my YZ250.
Hey Doug, can I send you some pictures of the bars and give me an idea if they are still good to run?

Shoot me a text at nine seven two 740 7fourone6. I have a set I took off a bike I got in a trade and I have no use for. I don’t know anything about them but I’ll send you pics and you can decide if you want them.
