2020 YZ450f wheels on a 2019 yz250f

My son races a 2019 yz250f. I purchased a 2020 yz450f and converted it to a snowbike so I have the 450 wheel sets that I would like to be able to run as spares for my sons 250. Does anyone have the knowledge of what is interchangeable and if not what can be done to make these 450 sets work on the 250. Thanks so much!!!

it appears the front axel is different. I know the rear wheel is wider but might run the same axel

Call your local Yamaha Dealership, Have them cross reference the two part numbers. I bet they will tell you if they ae the same or different.

The 2020 wheels will fit on a 2019.
However, the brake disks are different. If you want to use the 2020 on the 2019, no problem.
The 2019 on the 2020 may cause the rear disk to catch the caliper (the 450 went down in rear disk size).

I would recommend replacing the disks, or pulling them off to prevent the chance for mix up.

They will fit. Not sure about the rotor as mentioned above. If you need to cross reference any Yamaha part go to Yamahapartshouse.com and enter the number in the search box. Once that pulls up click the see all or cross reference tab. It will then show you all compatible machines.
