I am new to the MX world. I just purchased a really nice used 2018 yz65 for my boy. Hes 60# 9yo, beginner, he has alot of racing experience, just not on a bike. Based on observations, the stock Suspension seems stiff, am i wrong? Ive done some research and talked with JM suspension and Enzo suspension about revalve and respring. Is there anyone that is equally good in or around North carolina that can do this, and that also goes to some of the local tracks that can help me fine tune and walk me through some adjustments in certain conditions or changing conditions?

Tagmx, I’ve never used them but they are pretty popular in eastern NC
For western NC I’d say Barr’s competition, lay motorsports, privateer connection, or for a professional level art of war did Chad reeds suspension last few years.

FTI in Lexington does great work. Former NASCAR and JGR mechanics. See my product review on their AER spring conversion.

thanks guys. thanks jonboy, im going to look into what you posted now. I researched some of those other places, but I just sent them to Enzo this time until i can start networking with some of the local cats and see who they end up using and see who ends up at the track the most to help their customers.since enzo deals with KYB, and theyve already put a kid up front on a yz65 at lorettas, i chose them. we arent racing, i just know from racing quarter midgets that proper suspension is just as critical as making power.

Wish I would have seen this post earlier. Living in Randleman, your not 30 minutes from Total Control Racing in Burlington.
Chad is and awesome guy to work with, and does 65 bikes all the time.
