Shout out to my local PD

So we have a track at our home and we've had a lot of people riding lately. 15-20 a day on the weekends. I walked out of my house on Sunday and saw the police cruiser at the end of the driveway with lights flashing talking to my wife (while we had a bunch of riders on the track). I walked down and the officer said he just stopped by to say hi and that he thought it was cool we had a track in our yard. I told my wife you know we picked the right place to live. We've got 7 acres and cool neighbors also. Honestly wasn't what I expected when I walked up.

That is great news. I wrote about buying 13 acres recently and there is 5 acres between my 13 and the only 2 neighbors who I found out one is a Sherrif. Well I contacted the owner of the 5 and she new I really wanted it and had all the bargaining power, I about paid double my offer in the end but under contract and worked it to where both close at the end of month. There is a 20 acre cow pasture on the the otherside that the owner isn't selling yet but assured I would be the first to know. Thousands of acres of non buildable woods in front and back so I only have those 2 neighbors. I have been invited to a festival nearby by the previous owner and hope to meet those two neighbors and break the ice. I heard the Sherrif is nice and keeps to himself as far a neighbors go. So hoping for the best.
