Hey all finished up my 2001 RM250 pretty
Much stock ...just installed graphics from
Kal air Graphics ...don’t think I could make money installing ! Much more difficult than I thought...
Tested at Pala Fox 🦊 Mx track last weekend..just set everything at factory specs ...Really had Fun! Power is totally different from my 2020 250rmz ! More like a
rocket 🚀 could really feel the weight difference and lighter feeling on handling !
Really like the Pirelli Mx Extra tires !
Thanks to my Friend Kent who has 15 vintage rm’s !! For the great advice!!
Have Fun out There!

Compare to the (2) 06 RM250's I had at the same time, the 06's had a meaty quick revving engine that revved out quickly but made immense power. Wish I couldve had that engine in my 01 RM250 setup. Although the bikes looked the same, they were extremely different. The 06 felt rigid, stiff and heavier plus the showa suspension was less than desirable. The 01 carved lines with ease, even compared to my 06' RM250.
Long winded post short, good on ya with this 01 RM250 rebuild, it was one of my favorite dirtbikes of all time.
And my 2020 250rmz so should be fun to compare the old and new...
