Crankcase chipped Yzf250 2019

So I going to replace the chain and sprockets and noticed a chip on the crankcase by the front sprocket, what would be the best options moving forward?

My kx had that when i bought it. Spot welded it and has been good since

Do you run a case saver ? Nd I’ve had mine welded now had 0 issues

Yeah I run the stock one. I take it I'll have to get the engine stripped before getting it welded?

Take the engine casing off and just inspect t for any bits of metal in the oil if all seems ok get it welded nd just do an oil change and be all good to go
