Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Syntrax is a GL-5 gear oil with no limited slip compatibility.

So gear oil? Absolutely!

Transmission oil with a wet clutch? Ehhhhhhhh, probably wouldn't go too well.

Some additional detail about the bike would be helpful too, like the year.

GL4 and GL5 say NO. Don't use that in a wet clutch application.
