2001 YZ 250 troubles

Hello, I tried to fire up my dirtbike today and it sounded rough. When I fired it up, it was revved up quite a bit and after a while it started to rev down to idle, but then it died almost instantly. when it died, gas started pouring out of one of the tubes from the carb and wouldn't stop until I turned off the gas. When I tried to kick it back over, it was three times as harder to do it and had to put my whole weight into it just to get it to move. Any ideas what this could be I appreciate any help!

got the float unstuck and the piston isn't seized because when it cools down, you can kick it again and fire it up for a few seconds.

Sounds like combination of problems... possible air leak, stuck float and a seizure... just because you can kick it back over and it’ll fire again For a brief moment doesn’t mean the piston didn’t lose lubrication and stick to the cylinder wall at one point.... heat/friction causes metal to expand and a piston expands faster than a cylinder wall... when you let it sit the metal cools and allows for the piston to move again... pull the exhaust and look through the port at the piston...
