Yz250 4th year issue

Hey all, so a couple of months ago my 03 yz250 was slipping out of fifth gear. I replaced the 3rd pinion and 5th pinion along with the shift fork. After putting her back together today, when I shift into fourth gear it’s a false neutral. It will shift up into fifth and fifth gear, along with 1-3, are as normal. Anyone have any clues as to what the problem is?? Thanks

I hope... is it possible to mix them up? And would that cause what I described?
