CR Build Triple Clamp Question

Hey guys, wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me. Looking for billet clamps for my '03 CR250 build. Does anyone know if the BUD racing or any other clamps for 2013+ CRF450's would work? I know the lower bearing is the same as the last gen CR's, but is the fork diameter the same or different?

No, the fork tube clamp diameters are smaller on the two strokes. You could run a shim on the newer clamps, but your best bet is to get clamps that fit directly. We're working on some now, but they won't be available for a couple months.

I am pretty sure I have some A-kit triple clamps stashed somewhere.
That would open the door for 49mm showa forks (2017+ CRF or A kits) on your CR.
Sorry to hijack the thread, just thought it might be worth considering the switch to a newer boingers.
