I don’t want it on my helmet. Anyone have a nice way to mount it (on a Yamaha)? Would be easy with some strong double sided tape, but I need to be able to remove it during washed. Was thinking Velcro and zip ties somewhere. Anyone try under the seat?

Grab some 3m dual lock strips.
As far as Yamaha location I’m not sure, but I’ll be running mine on my top ktm triple clamp and relocating my hour meter.

Nice, that stuff looks great, just ordered some.

Yeah, there is not much room for it on the Yamaha top triple clamp. Maybe I will try the front fender and just drill two small holes on each side so I can zip-tie it for extra security.

I would love to place it under the seat, by the other electronics, but I am not sure how great the signal will be under there.

It needs to be in plain site for GPS. Front fender or upper triple clamp is the safest.

I mount my XGPS160 to the frame of my KX using Velcro. I mount it slightly tucked under my shroud near the radiator. Just clears the clamps when fully turned. I'll get a pic of it later.

I was thinking about doing this. I used to mount hour meters there. Interested to see exactly where it is. Thanks!
