Hey everyone, still a work in progress here but finally getting close to where I envisioned this.

Bike is a 2018 Ktm sxf-450 that came mostly stock.

I added some bling and graphics as well as some other upgrades that I’ll list.

Fmf ti 4.1 slip on
Vortex ecu remapped by TD for oxygenated race fuel
Air box mod/screen less filter
Factory connection spring conversion
AER performance mod.
FC Revalve front and rear.
Mx-tech shock tank reservoir
Ride Engineering linkage
Works connection holeshot device.
Steahly Off-road 5oz Flywheel

And quite a few other smaller upgrades

Future upgrades I'm looking at are..

FMF powerbomb Ti header
Twisted Development head mods and Dyno tune
Ktm powerparts Orange Triple Clamps
Ktm powerparts PHDS mounts

And honestly that's about it for now. At the novice level if I don't win a race its definitely not the bikes fault. This thing runs amazing and the suspension is the best Factory Connection can do with it with out me swapping for Cone Valves. Its far better than stock in all aspects. I race mostly moto and some hare scrambles and this bike performs great in both for me. I picked it up for $4800 bucks with 60 hours on it and a couple grand in mods later it performs better than any newer stock Katoom and still cheaper than a new one. Any feedback on what else you would do if it was yours or maybe what you like or don't like would be appreciated!

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Jt726, I cant decide if I want to go with the PHDS mounts to help a little bit with vibrations and rigidity or spend a few more and go with the Neken sfs upper clamp which adds about a half inch of suspension like travel.

I really dig the look of that silencer, Seems like everyone has the blue Ti/carbon. Nice to see something different.

I tried the neken and pdhs. I honestly didn't feel a huge difference other than I could tell the neken was moving.
My favorite mod besides CVs was a steering stabilizer definitely a noticeable improvement!
Great job on your bike man!

Thanks man, I agree. Everyone seems to go with the blue color and honestly it wasn't the look I wanted. If I had a yzf I'd go with the blue but for the Ktm i prefer the natural titanium color. Also I didn't care much for the yellow and red fmf sticker kit on it so I found an orange and white kit to swap it with and I like how it looks.

Looks good.

I just build a 2020 SXF to look like a 2020.5 FE.
I noticed you wanted to buy the powerparts triple clamps, to same a shit load of $$, I had mine anodized orange, cost $30 and they are then the same as the aftermarker.

Thats looks great man. Clean!

And 30 bucks for anodizing triple clamps seems awfully inexpensive.

Yeh it’s a really simple process, I got my sprocket done as it was black, clamps, rear axle tension block and a motor part all for $60, my last bike I did just the clamps at the same place for $30 and had the bike for 2 years and no fade.
I’n sure there is a local guy close to you who does Anodizing, not all do heaps of colours but it’s worth the phone call.
