Cdi programming questions

From what I have read on the internet it’s a great mod on a 125 with a highly moded motor. Would a lectron carb work with cdi mods? I have read a few comments in a past forum that a lectron works best with a stock cdi on 2 strokes?

What bike do you have? I heard the fast AM riders only Ktm and Husky are using stock CDI.

It’s for a 2004 rm125 project I decided to go overboard with. I watched a video on vital by too fast Moto where they tried a programmed a hpi cdi on a yz125 and it worked great so I’m sure it would work great on a rm but I have read in a few places it’s not worth it if I’m using a lectron.

You can't go wrong with a programmable CDI, Lectron or no Lectron. I'd give it a go.
