KTM/Husky 4Stroke Map switch removal

I can’t find a clear answer anywhere so I’ll ask here.

If I remove the map/traction control switch from my FC250, what map (1 or 2) will it default to when removed?

If it sets to map 1 when removed, how can I get it to stay in map 2?

I really can’t help you but I somehow managed to sever the wires to the map switch on my 350 in a crash and just removed the whole thing. I don’t even give a shit which map it’s in, I just ride it.

If the switch is disconnected, the ECU defaults to Map1. Map 2 is not accessible if the switch is disconnected. I confirmed this with someone at factory KTM.

I have taken them off the bars and zip tied behind front plate and in air box
