some help advise needed please...

Im in the process of restoring a 1989 cr 500,
And need advise on quality of some parts available..

the best radiators available ? ( are them ebay rads anygood )
I need new electrics..( complete ) can cr 250 be used? as ive heard there the better option..

id contact icw for radiators. They can repair broken and leaking ones . Possibly help locate some aswell

If you’re standard radiators are relatively good condition, I would get those braced and welded instead of buying the cheap eBay radiators. I’m also in the UK and can’t recommend Altech enough to brace and repair radiators. Very good pricing for the work that goes into them

Off the topic, but i think RWJ Honda was in the past name of british team raced World champ. 500cc, Im right? I remember that team raced 250 chassis with 500 motor.

yes they were a british based team, running kawasaki and later honda,s

I have a cr250 flywheel, ignition, and pick up on my 500. I think I had to drill the backing plate. I don’t have any pics of the set up. I believe I read a thread on bannedcr500riders about it. I taped up the plugs that went to the TPS and other things I didn’t need. It’s pretty smooth with mo’betta port job and the cr250 flywheel
