Are you guys scouring the listings at monster.com, looking for jobs where you can work overtime for free? I didn't think so.
I think any of us (well, most of us) would jump at the chance to work for half of every year, particularly if it was something we were good at, and mad a ton of money at.

I actually have worked "for free"... quite a few times. When working for myself, I've often worked 7 days a week, and done stuff "for free" to build, and maintain, a good reputation and increase business.
In this economy there are actually people out there, doing EXTRA-ORDINARY things everyday due to the realities we are facing right now.
If I had James' talent I'd find a way to ride... "where there's a will, there's a way"

But, I believe if I was in that position, I would do everything I could to ride both series, ESPECIALLY after going undefeated, and ESPECIALLY after getting beat down by Ricky.
Hmm imagine that, a factory rider really needs a good program to win races, all this time I thought he could just show up on the SX bike he raced in the back of a truck.
The "fastest man on the planet" sat out motocross.
So, either, James, his team, or whoever else thought it would be cool to throw away a title is jacked up in the head, and/or all about money.
AND, if James was as fast as some of the knuckleheads on here say he is, then he could win glen helen on a schwin beachcruiser

How many of you stick to a training regiment? How many of you burn out doing it then stop? Do you get the point? They cant stop when they get burned out, they cant stop when they are sick, they cant go home early for personal reasons. There is alot of shit that goes into this deal.
Do you think they just show up on the weekend and ride? Laughable really what some of you say about it not being a job.

In order to succeed in MX today you have to have a strict program consisting of proper Dieting , training, riding and yes, even sleeping has become part of training.
Todays top riders are pulled in many different directions, from autograph signings to personal appearences to test sessions, photo ops, you name it they have to do it, and James is the most sought after rider in history.
Its not your conventional 40 hour a week job, but its still a job.
Should James race? Its up to him, but for all the crap he is getting online and the way his Twitter account was blown up with insults, I am sure he is regretting the choice.
Please come do your thing now and show them how a champion does it.
