Hey guys - this is Ryan Clark and I wanted to reach out to Vital for some help. I know there is a lot of talk about teams and riders not getting the funding because the sport isn't marketable like Nascar, stick and ball sports, etc. I've been on all sides of the racing equation, from rider to business owner to team owner, and I agree there are some issues. Rider's should definitely make more for the risks they take, but that money has to come from somewhere. If they aren't winning or getting the media attention, it's difficult for brands to justify the return, or teams like ours to secure enough funding to be competitive at a high level. Team Solitaire has built a great network of support, from the metal label Nuclear Blast (SLAYER, ROB ZOMBIE, HATEBREED) to Rockwell Watches to industry supporters like Leatt. These are the backbone of our daily operations.
At the beginning of this year we signed up a tactical knife company, Ravencrest Tactical. I told them what a loyal consumer base of outdoorsmen, tradesmen (like me - I work construction by day) and adventurers we are. So I am asking that you guys take a look at their knives - and if you need a great knife and want to help us keep them on board for the future please support them. On top of helping keep money coming to the industry, their knives are bad ass and I carry one every day on the job site and at the track.
They are running a huge special in conjunction with title sponsoring our team for the San Diego military appreciation race. We love this race and have gone all out with our graphics and gear (I'll make sure Guy B shares some good ones). We have three military veterans on staff, Eric Angelski (Robbie Wageman's mechanic), Ken Weckwerth (transport driver) and Colin Burgh (recent MMI graduate and team intern).

I appreciate the support and please come by our rig and introduce yourself if you make it to the races. You can also follow us on insta @teamsolitairesx.
Thanks - Ryan Clark (@phnx_rc)
