Yep, raced against him often. In '78 the Holland Honda XR was even better, they ran the mini Betor forks and even more travel in the rear. I got to try one, couldn't adapt to the thumper in the 5 minutes I rode it.

This one is a beauty!!! Nicely done.

So here is my question. I had a 1985 XR80. What was differences in the motor between motors on the 75 and the 80? My buddy had an XR75, i remember we drag raced and he blew the doors of my 80. Of course I had no idea how to ride back then either. I dont remeber what year his bike was.

Paul-- if that was directed at me , then thanks a bunch. I'm sure you've seen a shitload of great bikes over the years and a compliment like that from you means a lot
