Noob question on sss kyb’s

On the compression, i know how to adjust them.
On the rebound, how do i make the rebound slower or faster? I know that down there there is the bolt, but what should i do to make the rebound slower? By going versus hard (screwing) or versus soft (unscrewing)? Thank u

Screwing the rebound screw in (clockwise) will restrict the oil flow making it slower/harder. I believe

x2. The correct terminology should really be "slower" or "faster" when referring to rebound. "Harder" could imply either function, depending on your thought process.

Going clockwise slows the rebound down so that the suspension does not return to full travel as quickly. Counterclockwise allows the springs to return the suspension faster.

Clockwise = more "dead"
Counterclockwise = more "springy" or "lively."
