We just started a Jersey Lettering and custom apparel business called Viral Moto here in Tennessee and we thought building a 2004 kx125 would be a good way to get the name out there and we’ve just been wanting to do it anyways tbh. We’re gonna do a Stewart replica for the most part. Here’s a few pics of what we started with and what we got lined up so far...frame should be back from powder this week and the engine in a week or two.....

Frame came back from powder today. Tried to get close to the stock color instead of like a black or something.

What forks and wheels are you using for the build? I have an 04 as well and debating swapping forks from a newer model

Forks are 09-12 KYB 48mm. Wheels are TCR hubs laced to DID hoops

Cleaned up and fixed some scuffs on the tank and subframe tonight. Didn’t wanna go full polish on the subframe so I tried to polish just enough to get the 15 years of crap and scratches out of it.

Got the swingarm fixed by Allan Taylor out of Stockton,Ca. He machined a piece to fix the broken part of the swingarm since we weren’t able to find a decent one to replace it. I think it came out pretty good!!! Also Jim Haeseker with Haeseker Racing Engines almost has the motor together and it is looking sweet!

Are those 250f or 450f forks? Im running 08 Kx450 forks and looking for new clamps. Im assuming the triple clamps are for new model than that. Any issues with sizes of the two?

Yes, the forks are 2009-1012 kx450F forks with xtrig clamps to fit. Everything bolted up no problem. You just have to get the trick engineering adapter. We also did a new brake caliber and tcr wheels out of Lodi, Ca got us hooked up with a 2009-2018 kx250F/450 complete wheel.

Update

Graeme brough suspension just finished up the shock for the #Viral125 and it looks awesome. Complete rebuilt with a DLC shock shaft. @graemebrough_suspension on Instagram. Check him out, he does stuff for axle Hodges and Tyler Bereman to name a few. He’s been in the industry for 20 plus years, if you need suspension give him a try.
