Bikes locked up

I just bought a 2004 RM 250 2 stroke. After starting the bike and running it the bike seemed to be pinging a bit and idling rough. The gas in the tank smelled bad, so I drained the tank and carburetor. After talking with a few guys from my towns local bike dealerships I decide to try running some VP c12. One of the guys said if your not sure if there has been engine work done to it then try cutting the c12 race gas 50/50 with 91 ethanol free pump gas. I mixed my oil and gas 32:1 with klotz two cycle mix. The bike ran and idled awesome for about 30 mins then sputtered and quit. Now the bikes locked up you can’t even kick it over. Anyone think this is due to the race gas or just bad timing and luck ?

Was running lean and heat seized from the sounds of it.

What it sounds like to me as well. I dont think it was the C12/pump mix as you said you just bought the bike. My guess jetted lean. Post a pic if the bike. Overall appearance says alot of previous life.

Nice bike. Let us know what you find when you get the motor apart as well the jetting specs.
