2015 Crf230 won’t shift to first

My friend’s Crf 230 will shift into neutral from 2nd no matter how much pressure you put on it, then it will shift three or more time before it will go into first. Any suggestions?

Bent shift fork I'd say...regardless, it's a bottom end stripdown thats needed to see exactly what's going on.
