I watched him destroy Reed, Carmichael, and all of the fastest riders from Europe with a lead that was OVER ONE FULL MINUTE--on a 250f.
That race was just unreal. Won't ever forget it.

Uhhhhh....no.

You seem to forget that Villopoto had numerous faster lap times in the tiddler class last year than Stewart, who had a heavily pruned 450 field to himself.

My loyalty to Lawrence has a lot to do with the fact that anyone with eyes can see his talent is superior than essentially everyone else who will be racing the outdoors and I appreciate that. I also love the fact that he is the anti-villopoto. Stewart and Reed are cool. Guys like RC are very robotic and when they do show personality, it is in a whiny, bitching kind of way.

God I would LOVE to bet you ANY amount of money you care to name that if Stewart had to courage to defend his title EVEN ONCE against Villopoto, he would NOT go 24-0. Of course, we won't get that chance will we? Interesting.

Agreed! I know Ben Townley can't beat Reed and RV had a helluvatime with Townley. Just because RV shines here and there doesn't mean he is a title contender. Until youn have seen him hang on to 450 for 2 FULL 30 min + 2 lap motos, I would not be running my mouth about title this and title that.

You have statistics and history heavily against you. The number of 125/250f champions who have gone on to kick ass in the 250/450s is HIGH. It gets HIGHER when you count 125/250f champions who won multiple championships--ie Villopoto, Stewart before him, and Carmichael before Stewart.

This lame theory that Villopoto is somehow not going to be able to "handle" a 450 is just that--a lame theory that has now been shown to be false. Villopoto won 2 of 17 "big bike" supercrosses his rookie year and made several more podiums. We are now heading to his preferred environment--the outdoors. He shines "here and there?" You must have missed the last 3 years--you know the years where he won 3 outdoor national championships, 3 MXDN individual titles, and 1 lites supercross championship. Get real.

It won't be long now and everyone will be reminded of how fast that little red headed sum bitch is! If it isn't glen Helen , it will be shortly after. Guys that are betting against RV in the nationals , as being a title contender , or "THE" title contender are going to be in for shock.


I haven't thought of any other rider in the past 10 years that could replace RC , Stewart or even Reeds speed.....but i believe R.V. will be that guy. he has a fire inside him to win or die , and that's what made R.C. as great as he was ( is) . And of course in the outdoors....M.A. has that as well i think. I also think M.A. and R.V. are going to feed off each other.....and there WILL BE some bar bangin' going on.
