I have had this bike for a while, maybe 4 years or so. It was under a tree with no top end on it, it was in pretty bad shape! But I started buying parts, and actually even had a few things from my Factory Yamaha support days as an amateur, and now it's ready to get going. I was on track with getting it completed pretty quick over a year ago to race some of the 125 Dream Races during the summer. But my dad passed away and I took about a year off from everything in life but working. I have never gone so long without riding. But I am ready to get this bike rolling.

Here are some pics of the bike in the condition I got it in. And as it sits, it is framed and I have scrubbed on it. but already needs to be hit again.

First want to say sorry for your loss. Hang in there. Time eases the pain a little.

This is going to be epic. Cant wait to see this thing. Clayton is top notch and his attention detail is incredible. Never been disappointed with his work.

Thank you for the compliments. Pops is in a better place now, definitely takes time to get use to him being gone. We were tight and worked together on everything. But we’re all good, take what I learned from him and apply every day.

So the only thing I have done besides wash the chassis is cerakote my clutch cover and water pump black. The thing is I really like raw engines. I grew up in the 90’s era and in the 2000’s I became friends with a lot of pro team mechanics and learned tricks from them back then. Scrubbed cases never looked so good! Some of my 125’s back in the day were so clean and simple. So I’m having a hard time deciding if I want to do a lot of coatings. Maybe focus more on hand touched work and be more period correct. Unsure
