Does anyone know a good place to look up historical info on riders numbers? For instance, 2, McGrath, Villopoto, Webb etc.

Want to see what number has how many wins throughout SX/MX

Are you counting if they ran the “1” plate? 4 has a shit ton to his name.

No, because at the end of the day their AMA number is still registered to them. Yeah 2 and 4 snatched a lot of victories!

I've got some rider numbers in my database here: www.motoxdata.com (You would have to search by rider.)

But it's hard to find numbers from before 2004 when AMA started posting archives of complete race results: https://archives.amasupercross.com/

I'm slowly just finding numbers looking at pictures in old Cycle News articles or from the races on Youtube.

If you ever find a good source of assigned rider numbers prior to 2003, I'd love to see them!

I think the Phoenicians are responsable for the numbers we use today!

They invented the “0” (zero) and JLaw perfected it! sorry I couldn’t help myself 😂
