Yz125 throttle cable

Guys quick question I have an 03 yz125 and bought a new oem throttle cable. It came with a corrugated tune around most of it. Am I supposed to keep that on during instal?

Ok cool thanks. The one on my bike does not have it. I was not sure if it was just for shipping. One more question it would be where it goes against the frame right. Because it does not cover the whole cable.
