I f''d up my lower back last week so bad I've been a two a day cust at the chiro. My question is: what are the best excercises for your core. Last thursday the track got really rutted and I was on rails but couldn't hardly walk after dinner. Aside from stretching more what works for you faster guys.

My back hurt for years, between old MX injurys and BMX racing my back ached often. I did some researched and found yoga, the first 2 weeks it kicked my ass but I havent had a sore back since.
Have you checked out a Wii and a Wii Fit?
Lot of good core exercises and yoga, all in a simple motivating manner.
It also tracks all of your daily work, monitors your weight, your BMI and balance skills
Consider a Wii Fit
Before my doctors banned me from going to the gym, I used to go to a yoga/pilates fusion class 2-3 times a week. That sort of work does amazing things for core strength. You might think it looks easy but it will definitely kick your ass until you're used to it.
I also use the perfect push up handles for all kinds of variations on push ups.
Moto, mountain biking, and skating the skate park for my cardio training.
It measures your balance, weight distribution and force on the board.
For example, you do what look like simple torso twists, but you have to try and maintain your center of balance while doing it by keeping a red dot within a yellow circle...so you're exercising but working your balance to do the exercise at a perfect neutral balance location, it also give you a score based on performance.
It's not a video game, trust me.
I have fucked up back and when I told my PT trainer I was now doing Wii Fit, she was crazy happy and said even she does it every day.
Don't knock it
