Best year cr250 and compatibility with 2008 Crf 250

Hi Vital crew!

I'm wondering, what years cr 250 would be compatible with a 2008 Crf fork and shocks?
Got my forks with black coating and set up on my Crf and would like to use them on a cr, pretty much take the best of the Crf to a cr and then sell the Crf :D

Also would like to know which year is a good one, heard that 2005-2007 are pretty much the same
Any insight would be helpful, thanks!

05-07 CR250 best years, I don’t care what anyone says. And yes your 08 CRf450 forks and shock will bolt right up to a 05-07 CR250. Will fit the 02-04 models too but the shock clevis on the 08 CRF is 10mm longer than the 02-04.

Ooh, thanks for the info!

Will try to get a 05-07 cr, but I haven't find anything yet, what mods would be advisable?

I traded that might be a good idea to buy a vforce reeds to get more low end torque?

Another question, is the front and rear sprocket and chain compatible between a 2003-2007 cr 250 and a 2008 Crf 250?

best Cr250 is the 2000 to 2001 for engine best handling 05-07 i have a 04 chassis and 2000 engine best 2 stroke ever. that Rc valve motor is unrefined. My dad and i have 2 2000s being built right now and have done 11 in the last 2 years and a 03 and 02. The Rc valve doesnt have the power band like mechanical power valve but handles very good so it depends on what your seeking

Front sprocket no, rear sprocket yes. Chain yes.

Thank you guys, and what about the cr125, and it's compatibility with the crf250 2008, would that be a wise option? Just love cr's and I really want to get into them!
