These videos are super rad and not only inspiring to get out in the shop and work on something but also just in general. So much passion. Far beyond a tutorial with all of the creative ideas. I'm a fan.

I started watching that and by the time I was done, my whole family was watching, too. The helicoptering cartridge holders were GREAT!!! I picked up a lot of ideas from the rebuild.

You definitely accomplished your goal. It make the whole process look so simple. I think that has to be on of the biggest things to overcome in a lot of industries. Racetech is one of those companies that likely deals with people who are afraid of doing stuff to their bike/suspension. You video seems to take that edge off.

Great stuff, look forward to seeing more. You should shop the idea around to a few companies and see if you can get someone on board. They may not be able to cover the total amount of your costs in terms of time but a little bit is sure motivating.

What do you do for a living if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks again.

I work on machinery that's used for building computer chips. For years I was at Intel's site in Hillsboro, but recently found my way back to central Oregon closer to home. Far and away the best part of the job has been the schedule. It used to be 12 hour shifts on a schedule that worked out to half the days of the month, now it's four days a week 10 hour shifts. It allowed me to dump time into this without having to be a starving artist, haha.

As for the business side we'll see where it goes. When I'm ready to get into the engine I'll see who's interested, but of course the options are a bit limited for companies still making parts for a 93 KX250.
Echoing everyone's sentiment, very cool video.

I would think someone like RMATVMC would be a good sponsor for the engine rebuild as they have the tools and parts that would be used in a rebuild. Using their Tusk tools, seeing the parts come out of their branded boxes, etc. would play well for them.

I have a page of notes with ideas for doing the engine rebuild video. It includes pics of a bunch of tusk engine tools and ideas about how they'll move and how best to illustrate exactly what they're doing. At some point I'll see if they're interested. Having someone who could provide the OEM parts would be nice.

I've thought about using one of those wrench rabbit or wiseco rebuild in a box kits, but I'll be looking to do a crank rebuild rather than just drop in a whole new crank.

The best and worst part of all this is that possibilities are endless.
