"Actually, the next two races, I’m riding outdoors, because neither stadium has a roof on it. It’s outside" James Stewart

The idea that a MX and SX champion that is the hottest piece of rider property on the planet somehow just "managed" to end up on a team that doesn't fully support MX is laughable. Add to that the idea that said rider has no sway in what series he runs is simply preposterous.

If James doesn't run the MX series it's not Brook's fault. Larry's just the fall guy.

Bullshit. Why would james want to run outdoors? What he's scared, give me a break. Call larry out, He comes on here alot so call him out. James for a fact makes more money doing sx only then doing both. Look chad reed made 7 mill last year and james def gets more then reed. I would blame him even if he said I dont give a F about it bc he's rich and its his life and his money. Leave it alone guys. Its better without him anyway bc there will be better racing. Im sure he would like to go whio RV2 ass if he was aloud just say he could tell kawasaki they made the rite choice.

Try reading it again.
I did not suggest that James was scared, broke, incapable, or anything of the sort. I stated that the idea that riding the Nationals is totally out of JS's control is dumb, much like the rant you just posted.

Wow..............can't we get a SX suckup forum with all the new changes?

"I don't want to work for free"(said by a few here), why would JS? How about just get it done? He would not get paid? You tell me (one) sponsor that backs out because of it, and you'll see more response (not to the good) because of it.

I would switch brands if Yamaha stepped up and supported an outdoor effort with the Indians (feather, not dot)
According to you assholes, James has Jack Nicholson money, if his heart is there, just do it, man.

Write the check and prove us wrong.
JLaw has his own team, "if" he gets off suspension, my bet is he is outdoors. Take it?

I really don't care if he rides or not. My concern is that when 'des Nations time comes around everyone will just lay down and say 'Oh James is the fastest ever he has to be on the team.'. No! I don't care how fast someone is, if they don't want to race they shouldn't be rewarded with the honor of representing our country.

ya know what's funny, all you beeches are going to go back and forth trying to figure out what's in Stewart's head about this, call him names, call him this or that to get him out this summer, or try and figure it out.

One problem is you can't speak your mind in moto, people just go apeshit. It's not the only place this happens, but in moto, it really, really happens. Just look at BoobyM!

Second is the irony. You should know because it's been mentioned, but forgotten.

The reason (not alone, but things ad up) James lost interest in doing the nats back when it mattered was ad homs. Southwick.

Now you dumbshits think you can get him back with ad homs.

Smile

I haven't talked with him about it in a while so what I said applies to back when it was decision time, way back.

Stewart has NO competition outdoors, that is not fun for him or anyone else. Maybe one reason he is not riding is he wants the series to be interesting for the fans? Maybe his team is not interested? Mcgrath did not ride them, Reed did not ride them (every season). James should be allowed to do what he wants to do.

Stewart either completely dominates or hurts himself outside. Most people don't like either of those options.

good job. Yet cranky, but learning.

So run through that one more time and keep me out of it. I'm not that interesting.

James had enough ad Homs. Southwick wasn't the first.

Notice right after that he quit doing Saturday practices, and the plan to do one summer, win it, and go SX only was decided about then.

I'm just trying to help you understand from that point. If things change, they change, just remember why things happen and ask does it have to be that way?

James said after winning the title at Millville, on the podium, he will be back to defend it.

Listen to the interview he did with DMXS last week.

http://www.dmxsradio.com
It is the 4-15-09 show.

In it he says that he would like to ride outdoors but that Brooks is the boss and has the final say.
Call that whatever you would like but that is what James said.

He also said that he would not ride for the MXDN because if he is not doing the outdoors then he didn't feel he belonged on the MXDN team.

i love when people whine about "so and so" riders not riding the outdoors.

we're in a totally different generation of racers AND racing than we've ever been. get over it.

actually, i believe he said if he lined up for at least one outdoor race then he would race mxdn if given the chance....

Maybe I just don't like Racetime's posts because they make me feel stupid when I can't ever understand just what the hell he's trying to say. (place appropriate ad hom here)

He very well may.

But I tend to think with his money, connections, contacts...if JS really wanted to race the Nats, he'd be racing the Nats.
