Bought and exchanged a pair of the 2018 fox instincts recently. They put the other pair aside for me while the originals where in the mail so they wouldn’t sell out. Shipping took a bit but the weather has been crap anyway. If I need something in a hurry I go to my local dealer and they usually have what I need to get riding. Superb customer service. RMATV/MC and Chapparal are my favorites for customer service.

I have bought a TON of stuff from RM since they were just a small business. They have been excellent overall for customer service but a little over a year ago they started use a new shipper locally(I live in Utah and their product ships from their warehouse in Utah) and instead of receiving product in about 12-18 hours it arrives the next evening or later. Which means instead of having it the next day It takes two days. For that reason I now often shop at my local brick and mortars like Cycle Gear, South Valley Yamaha, The Edge and Wright's Cycle. They price match and I get my product quicker.

I’ve had no issue with them for years, this is the 1st time.

Really shitty because I only bought $100 insurance on a $500 brace, but that was dumb and is on me.

Before I lose my mind and start trashing RMATV/MC are there any of their employees or better yet, a manager on this board? I need some help with a missing neck brace that was sent back and am not having the greatest of luck going through their channels.

Was hoping somebody could help me out and take ownership of my issue as it's stressing me out.
Give them a call. They can fix it. Social media can't.

UPDATE -

I was honestly trying not to complain about them too much; I was seriously just looking for some help over there as my calls were going to front-line customer service folks who didn't know much about the issue in spite of my attempts to escalate it. Pretty much the same stuff you go through if you have an issue with any large(r) company.

In any case RMATV responded to either my e-mails, phone calls or this Vital thread and called me today. Savanna from RMATV provided me a single point of contact and promised to look into it personally. About an hour later she called back and said that the brace had been received and shipped to Leatt for repair already, she also kicked me a gift certificate.

I'm happy and will continue using them as I have for the past 8 years or so.

Moral of the story is think twice before under-insuring packages when shipping - I could have been seriously f**ked here not taking enough insurance.

Whew!
