It's bullshit that the UFC president is out there bitching about Silva to put on an entertaining fight. Wasn't Silvas fault the guy kept falling to the ground. Silva did what he had to do to win. President of UFC should be ashamed of himself for blaming Silva. Sometimes the fights are entertaining, sometimes they are not-but to blame Silva for not putting on a show is ridiculous. Should be blaming the other guy for falling to his back and not willing to fight.

Silva stuck to his fight plan, keeping it standing.
Why does Silva have to change his fight plan for Leites? Why can't he change his fight plan?
Seems to me, Leites was the bullshit fighter in this with his toppling over like a wooden toy at the slightest touch in an effort to draw Silva to the ground...it was very obvious and pathetic

if that was a non-title fight.. and leites was just some random dude who was stuck in there to provide silva with some opposition.... well then it IS up to silva to provide the entertainment and beat up on a lesser guy....

but it wasn't..... leites is the challenger to the throne and should be under the same obligation that silva is.... so if dana white tells silva to spice it up, then he should also tell leites.... either that or give silva a better matchup in order to provide the entertainment, it is his deal afterall

MMA is no entertainment show like WWF wrestling, it is a serious sport, SIlva did what he was supposed to, he won 5 out of 5 rounds and remains the champ. Silva is a counterpuncher and it is hard to counterpunch when your opponent does nothing. Seems like Silva had some nice oppurtunities to ground and pound Lites when he laid down, but Silva dominated Lites without haveing to hurt him too much, good for both of them. Dana needs to give Silva a better contract too if he is gonna whine about Silva, I think Silva gets about 90 k per fight where as a guy Like Brandon Vera gets 200 k, whats up with that?

Anderson Silva gets paid way more than Brandon Vera. Vera's last fight he was paid 30K to show and 30K to win.

that fight was BS. Lietes just acted like a puppy that shit in the corner and knew he was about to get smacked with a newspaper. As for Dana being mad at silva, Silva is the champion, Liedes needed to take the title from him, not the other way around.
