If I was in the stacked 450 class right now I’d hit up A.Short and learn that 3rd gear start method.

My brother thought he was uge (he wasn't) and had a 53 on his '98 YZ 125! He had/has a tendency to get carried away. I had a clutch issue on mine and rode his... 3rd gear starts! I weighed about 50kg at the time, with gear.Laughing

People seem to think that. Nailing a start on a 500 two-stroke against a field of 450s isn't as easy as it might seem.
