No. On DMXS he basically tried to do damage control with the fans by saying he wanted to race the outdoors but he couldn't "because of the team"

As bad as he dominated the field last year, he should show up on a stock bike and make it more fun for us to watch.

What about JSE that's his own team right?

I'm sure he could pull sponsors together if he wanted to race. Travis has Red Bull too, and they sponsor him for everything.

Would you work for free? No you wouldn't. What if he got hurt doing it for free and miss the sx series, Lb would be furious. I wouldn't work for free and I don't expect him to either. None of us would. Times are rough. The series champion barely found a ride this year. Kw won't race outdoors either bc people won't pay

Most people never say what they want to because they don't feel free to.


Riders moving here from GPs talk about this before the move because they know about the problem and expect it. "watch what you say in the states, people go apeshit crazy over anything..."


It applies to both talking to fans, which people want - and talking about business, which no one wants.


Remember when RC said he got more exposure in one X Games than 10 years of nats? Only RC could say it and he was saying it when he was out the door....

First, Kawi wouldn't 'LET' him race the 'des Nations. Now, somebody else doesn't want him to race the nats. My thinking is that when the 'des Nations comes around he shouldn't be put on the spot with his employer by offering him a place on the team. Let people that want to do the job have at it. RV, MA and, first American in the small bore class sounds like a team that likes to race to me. Also, night nationals stink. If night time is Bubba time, he's got the deal he wants. Stop watering down our sport pandering to people who don't want to be there in the first place. Sorry for the rant.

A few months ago MXA had a breakdown of what guys make doing the nats.

I was really stoked in 05 when rhyno & brown both did the entire series with a couple off the shelf bikes and a funmover. Brown actually lead the points for a while that year.
"On his own dime, or free or whatever the fuck. " Chump change for a guy that said on dmxs that at this point in his career the 20k fine would be worth it to punch a rider.

If JSE & San Manuel want exposure:
Do the live rounds, x games moto & supermoto.
I think the ole' the team wont let me gig is cute.
