Clutch push screw/push lever

Anyone know what holds this clutch push screw/lever together on a 77 Yz80? The original part was flaired and mushroomed together.
Attached is photos of the original and the new parts.

I think you answered your question as it appears the the original flair/mushroom was how it originally came. But, it also looks like your original has a snapped bolt and that the new part has inner threads.

What your seeing in my old one is the adjusting screw that allows adjustment from the outside cover to the clutch push rod. The pic of the new one doesn’t show the adjusting screw inside yet. But the adjusting screw has no relation to holding the lever into the push screw.
