Really? And you can confirm that they edited it out how?

It gets tiresome when people come in claiming stupid stuff like this.
What is the truth, really? From anyone who saw it first hand.

We don't know if Larry Brooks exaggerated the shit out of this in his MXA article.
Or if Chad took it a little to far as Larry said.

Should we not expect people to buy what he's selling if he's held at an elevated status?

Maybe instead of speaking down to people, we should explain that the problem occurs when MXA, unethically, provided only one side of the story and AMA or Reed/Decoster/Suzuki may have viewed this differently. Do they realize people hold this as truth?

Until a mx journalist without ties to either side speaks, maybe it should be taken with a grain of salt.
and I'm a huge James Stewart fan, but I think this was unfortunate.

Erin Bates: "What happened out there tonight"?

Rider: "Aww, I had to whip his ass"..
That is both the truth and completely hilarious.

Reed taking out RC at salt lake in 03
You guys dont remember howout of control RC was when he first started? I remember MC, Larroco and a bunch of guys saying the same shit about Rc that you are saying about Js7.
P.s did any of you assholes see the tedesco incident? Nope!! So how did you know he landed on him? Just by peoples words huh! I could tell you That stewart puched your grandma in the mouth and everyone would say hes out of control. Just remember this, everyone of this board wish the could ride and 2% of his ability
He's right, plus didn't Reed take out some cat's at the US Open a couple of years ago?..
You two should just love this clip.

It's hard to beleive that if this happened they wouldn't put it on TV. I don't understand that because all year they have been trying to play this up and then when it happens to not show it.... I'll beleive it it Chad get's fined.
Yeah, I don't see why they would edit it out. Does anyone remember DV12 bitchslapping Roncada in 2003 in Atlanta? They kept showing that one over and over. They also kept showing Rodrig Thain power driving his bike in to Chris Gosselaars bike at the Anaheim opener in 2002. JS's first race as a pro I think it was. They do show drama off the track, I don't see why they wouldn't show Reed and Stewart getting at it.

But then she would mess up the name and call him Izzi or Dungey. And finish it all up in the same sing song standard wrap up tone of voice,"Still a warrior".Tongue

Wow, the DRAMA!
"Championships r a bitch"
Did he?
Didn't he?
or
Did he?
Didn't he?
1st, it's racing.
Most on here if not all, don't know the full story!
Hear say.
For me too............
LB says this & that, the TV was editited, this, that, & back again!
Worse things have happened.
Neither guy is "squeeky clean" here!
The whole day showed that one.
For whatever it was if even at all, do, say, fine whatever,
but re-group guys cause there's 3 more to go!
3 more.
To say the title wasn't well fought & well earned is an understatement!
Me, I'm not taking sides. I respect 'em both. Both teams & crews too.
Splitting hairs as they all are, for really the whole series thus far is an
accomplishment in itself. Regardless of your favorite guy or team,
these 2, & only these 2, have separated themselves from all the other
racers. Each an every race they rise to the top. That's huge! That's the
story. That's what we all should be focused on.
For every action, there's a reaction..........shake hands, move on!
3 more................Woohoo

I was there, and from what i could see it did not look nearly as bad as some are making it out to be. They definitely embraced each other, with I'm sure some heated conversation. But there were no choke slams, no punches thrown, and no guns or knives. Most riders will touch each other to some extent after the race is over, be it a pat on the back, as Windham did to James, or high five or hand shake, etc.

If every small contact is going to be called inappropriate then the sport will become no fun.

All I know is it was mine and my sons first live SX and it was fantastic!

So did anything ever come out on this from the FIM or was it a bunch of BS on MXA's web site?

It's Pro racing. Stuff happens.

I don't think you could come up with 4 people total for all three of them together.
I watched RC jump the triple at the New Orleans SX when he was at the back of the pack and everyone else was doubleing and land right on top of Deegan.
