A buddy and I drove 4 1/2 hours each way to pick up a bike I have always wanted, for some stupid unknown reason, a 1992 Yamaha WR500.
We rode it yesterday and it is a monster! A 10 minute moto on this thing feels like a 30 minute moto on a modern bike. It is in pretty good shape overall, but the front forks were lowered. I want to go back to stock.
Does anyone have a pair of forks that would work on this bike? Can anyone tell me what forks will bolt right on? I am pretty sure 91 YZ250 forks will work. Will I need new internals if I use the stock forks?
Is anyone interested in a pair of lowered 1992 Yamaha WR500 forks?
