Is it pronounced FREEZEEE?

I guess I always just assumed it was FREEZE, but thats what you get when your only source of info comes from printed text rather than audio.

Anyways, Friese has been riding good the last few weeks regardless of how you say it.

Wasn't there a guy back in the day that raced with the last name Friese? Jeff maybe? It may have been spelled differently, with a "z" possibly?

What about pronouncing Laninovich as Lanovich? They consistently drop a syllable on that one all the time and it drives me nuts. Smile

as long as they keep pronouncing reed's YELLOW bike and stewart's BLUE bike... i'm all good.

i mean, they can screw up a name all day long, but it all comes down to the bike color to understand who is who out there

Gotta remember, he's from Missouri, where we pronounce Versailles as vur-sales, Chamois as sha-moyz, and so on. The two examples I gave are town names.

I love that my local closed captioning spelled it "Freezy." I had to shut the captions off to watch Toronto without laughing.

Yeah you definitely say the E at the end. They mispronounce Freddy Karrle's last name every time too. They say Carl, but it's Car-Lee.

The one that gets me is how they say Coisy, Quazee, Koysee.
They alternate between the correct pronunciation and the incorrect.
If it's your job to know the names of 40 riders, why not take a tiny bit of time to figure it out.

They kept getting Graddy's name wrong all night in Houston. This one isn't that hard to figure out. WTF do you get Graydee out of Graddy"? Maybe the say "Who's your DAYDEE?"
