Between 800, 2 and 22 the outdoors could be pretty interesting if Chad does decide to race. Any of them could win each moto.

RV will be under alot of pressure to win, that will be his biggest area to manage. If 800 can look faward instead of over his shoulder every 5 secs he could get it. Shorty must be favourite in real terms.

RV dealt with pressure when he battled Townley for the championship. I think he'll be ok with the battles in MX. I think Mike showed a lot of grace under pressure last year, but it's not the same. If 800 is in the points lead at some point, it will be interesting to see how he handles the pressure.

There are a lot of fast guys in the big class. Yes 800 starts great and ran up front but he will have Villo, Cooper, Grant, Langston, Hamblin, Short, Townley, Lawrence, etc etc to contend with this year. We keep hearing how he is going to run away with an outdoor title but I don't think he will dominate. Throw 22 or 7 in there and its a whole new deal.

If 800 gets the points lead will he eat sleep and dream looking over his shoulder?

I think Grant is going to be there mora than 2... Surely 800's going to be up font, he has the speed, and if 22 joins in, its gonna be yellow up front most of the time. To be honest I dont think Villo will be that fast on the big bike... hes strugling with the extra weight and power...
800 for sure, 22 also, 33, Cooper, Shorty, and Lawrence, if he stays clean... Supercross only contacts suck... Shame BT101 wont be there, he would have been a very strong contender. Hes super fast and extremely talanted, as is Langston... (if 8 does ride, it would be great).

What do you guys think of Searle, Townley and Pourcel? Whos gonna be up there?

I think that if Cody Cooper is healthy, he will surprise a few people this year on the JGY YZ450.

I was there and so were a lot of others. Yeah, RV smoked everyone at Budds. But, that's not the nationals and Chad is ready to race.

IF Chad runs the nationals, he will be at the front of the pack. Perfect? No. But, winning and podiums? No doubt. Championship? Definite possibility. With James? Could, but James has RC speed and that's Chad's Achilles heel.
I was actually refering to this past year in the UK when Poto went down and came back to like 10th. Budds Creek don't really count cause that was the day all the planets aligned just right for Poto. I don't even think RC was catching him that day, too bad we never got to find out though.

I do agree that Chad will win some races. He will not sweep the series though..

Poto on a 450 is a different kettle of fish to Poto on a 250.

I was there and spoke to Roger for while, he seemed as though he was desperate for Chad to run the outdoors.. He was saying Chad was a pleasure to work with so far.
What a true gentleman, straight down the line and more than happy to have a beer and a chat with anyone!

Reed should race the outdoors. With DeCoster behind him, he'd have no better chance at winning the title. The Man can get it done like few others.
