Nice! I've got one just like it.

My suggestion is if the suspension is close, just ride it. I started chasing it around and lost sight of the fun. Aside from a 450 shock spring I'm nearly back to stock and having a blast.

Watch that spoke behind the rim lock. Mine comes loose if I even look at it longer than 2 seconds.

Quite possibly the perfect production motocross machine in every way.

Agreed.

Anyone who says the low end is too weak isnt using the motor properly or appreciating what its doing.

The "softer" low end gets you out of corners without wheel spin and without rippinh your arms out and tiring you out then keep the throttle twisted and it keeps pulling and pulling. Saving you energy, keeping you hooked up and saving you a shift down that next straight. These bikes are weapons.

The handling is great, suspebsion could be more plush but ill get there, brakes are unreal and really make a huge difference in how you hit your lines or not.

I'm curious, why did you choose a Husky over another brand?

For me none of the Japanese brands build anything like the husky. The brakes are unreal, lighter than jap brands 250s, same power or more as some jap 450 and handling is amazing. Clutch is also much better feel and lasts. Not even close overall package compared to japs to me.

Why i chose husky over ktm is the few small changes for me i find are a benefit. Subframe is known to have more flex which offers more comfort and smoothness from chassis and the engine is smoother off bottom and builds more linearly which helps to crank out smooth consistent laps and hit yours lines lap after lap.

These same differences that i find appealing are the same that mags will rag on and make out to be massive power deficiencies. Which just isnt true. They act like you must ride a 350 like its a 125 or something with zero bottom end.

Im 230lbs and have ridden 2 different mx tracks without shifting out of second gear for the entire track. The engine is massively versatile. Its comical how much they act like it has no bottom end. The way it builds power is a huge advantage to me

I rode one and loved it. The forks are great IMO and the low end torque like a 450 and the revs of a 250 they are sick bikes.
