They should allow 2 strokes in each class cc for cc.
As sad as it is, unfortunately it's never going to happen.
Just imagine Honda/Suzuki/Kawasaki's superior 4 stroke machines getting beat by an outdated technology, while they have nothing to offer as far as 2 strokes go.
To much money spent on R&D on 4 strokes during the last 15 years to just drain it down the sink.

The 250 can turn same or faster laps than a 450. But put them on the track together and the 450 will have the advantage. The 250 rider needs certain fast lines in order to do the fast laps. The 450 rider can go anywhere and still make time. So 450 blocks the fast line but still makes the jump/rythem section, 250 loses time. I saw the same thing with a fast kid on a 65 trying to race the big bikes. He was fast when he could get his line around the corner.

I think a open displacement two stroke class and an open displacement four stroke class might be a compromise that could work. Might leave the 125's at a disadvantage but could be a great place to get a rider some attention if they're really good on one.

I've really lost interest in the 450 class; just too much carnage. So many major skeletal injuries these days, I hate to think what some of these guys are going face in their old age; arthritic as hell or reliant on pain killers? Surely the 450 class fallout rate hurts pulling sponsors into the sport. If I want to watch who can best tame the beast I'll watch bull riding.
